Here are a few pics I've been meaning to post for a while. While spending a few days in Vienna, we were fortunate enough to visit with Becca's grandparents (who have traveled the world a few times over). They were really amazing--great tour guides, story tellers, and they took great care of us.
In Vienna, in addition to all the normal sight seeing, we got to see a special Picasso exhibition with a couple hundred works by the Spanish genius, a Klimt exhibition (including The Kiss, below), saw a live symphony performance, and even got to ride the world famous ferris wheel, which takes about 15 mintues for a complete rotation.
There's also the story about our youth hostel, which was in a beautiful bombed out building, but I'll save that for another time.

Great pics. Which side for Becca's grandparents? Do they live in Vienna? Love you both.
Her mother's side... They live in Green, Texas, I think. They're pretty cool--they just travel and stay with friends. They were in Austria for 5 weeks with a friend who does live there (That's her living room in the first pic)
They're great, but still no Judy McCoy!!
Love you :)
Ryan M-town Rice,
That glass bottle pepsi looks pretty great... I just think things are better in glass bottles in general- Coke, Beer, Crack? I'm sure the list can go on. Pictures from halloween are floating around but I know Nikki has some. I'm still jealous of you by the way, cause Vienna has to be awesome... Well I'll keep looking foward to our reuniting.
Hoping Vienna Waits for Me,
Derek Cohen
Congratulations, Michael, you kept your promise! You were FUN visitors to guide around, going with the flow! It will be neat in the future to have these memories of being together in a strange land and an exciting city. By the way, you are close - not Green, Tx, but ORANGE, TEXAS. We look forward to your visit in Orange sometime!
Hugs and Love to both of you,
Grams
