Self Deprecation

This post is about nothing in particular, sorry there are no pictures yet of California, but they will arrive soon since they do provoke deep thoughts. It is beautiful here. The longer I stay here in California, the longer I realize how great Lindsey (and more importantly Sandy) are to my world of friendship. Define friendship...I thought I knew it so well. But as I had an urge to break into dance and play dress up again, I realized that these re-enactments would be quite void without my summer pals. And will we still remain as such when fall arrives?..I dread it, but I know the changes invoked will bring new adventures, familiar faces that are missed, and great opportunities...Perhaps even new pals. Speaking of adventure and opportunities, who wants to venture (with my best Lindsey) to Big Bend Territory?? Seriously, a road trip is needed with the best of you, so if the intentions are noble, contact me immediately as the trip is in the building process.

I know we are not intended to see God, as He would be too great for us to handle and fathom; His holiness exceeding anything we know. But I feel as if he gives us a brief preview of his splendor through the nature that is surrounding me. The sky, the mountains, the sunsets...nothing I could do to describe them would do it justice. Maybe the word "colossal" would help.

You are missed, all of you...Yes even you Sam (the dog). But above all, I miss my triplet brothers Austin, Bill, and John. You are the light of my life and the light of many others as well. They grow up too fast, and it's exceptionally difficult not seeing them everyday. I will post more pictures because I know they are everyone's favorite:)
