Greetings form the Sunshine State! I apologize for the lack of updating, I don’t really have access to a computer out here. But don’t worry, I‘m alive and well. California is great, I’m really enjoying seeing all the sights and different things it has to offer. The weather is a nice change from the Texas heat and humidity and the sunsets are nothing short of breathtaking . I spend most of my time doing army stuff…driving hummers, using a compass, that sort of thing. It’s been nice to be able to do all of these manly things in such a cool place.
Speaking of masculinity, before I left for California I found myself in somewhat of a predicament. After recently acquiring a cellular phone, I begun to realize that I just had too much stuff to carry and not enough pocket space to do so. I nonchalantly began bringing up the idea of purchasing a purse, letting my friends play around with the idea for a bit. Matt and Lindsey (my BFF) said absolutely not, but Sandy thought it might be a good idea. She suggested a “man purse”, aka an over-the-shoulder bag. Lindsey thought this might be okay, but she was not okay with me getting a briefcase that I so desperately wanted. After shedding a few tears as I drove slowly past Samsonite, I went to American Eagle where I purchased an over-the-shoulder bag. Already packed with the utmost necessities (read: camera, cell phone, keys), I showed off my new bag to my friends, prancing around the living room with my new prize. After about ten minutes of showing off I put my purse down on the couch and went outside only to forget about it for a few hours. After a few hot dogs and one killer dance party it hit me like a ton of bricks. Where was my purse? After searching frantically like a mother searches for her lost child in a shopping mall on tax-free weekend, I found my purse which was now Sam’s new bed. I bit my tongue, wanting so badly to lash out at the dog. Instead I dusted off the blonde hairs and hugged it close to my chest, promising to never let it go. Whew.
Don’t fret my friends, I will put pictures of it up as soon as possible, along with pictures of my brothers. I hope all of you are doing well and please know that I miss you all very much.

Joey from Friends.... Lost out on an audition because he couldn't part with his "man purse"....
But at least you didn't opt for a fanny pack!!!
Oh, someone beat me to it...the friends episode.
D:
But I've got a quote too,
"From now on if you want Joey, he comes with a bag!"
You can't see me, but I slap my side whre the bag is to emphasize the point.
