Let's shine a bit of light into the darker corners of the blogosphere. I have to admit I've quickly become a fan of this site, simply based on the notion that it is unadulterated truth. Most of our days, words, glances, movements, thoughts, confessions, are censored in some way or another. If the internet provides the anonymity required to convey truth, as dirty as it may be, then so be it.
Whether these psuedo-pop artistic confessions fall under the banner of catharsis, escapism, exhibitionism, or sadism matters very little to me-it's all semantics after all. The one thread of commonality they share is truth. It's not pretty, it's not reserved, it's not admirable... but it's truth, a fleeting thing that is often disgustingly beautiful.
