Apoco What?

So I'm still just killing time. In the desert. Friday seems like an eternity away, but I know it's just around the corner. The first and last few days are the longest.

Today I spent some time checking out El Paso, ate some authentic Mexican food (really good!), read a little at Barnes and Noble, and saw a movie.

The movie, Apocolypto, written and directed by Mel Gibson, was absolutely incredible. I've never seen anything like it. I won't get into it, but if you're a guy, you'll probably like it.

I will say this: We need to worry less about Mel's anti-semitic remarks and worry more about the movies he's making. This movie had more decapitations and rolling heads than the French Revolution.

Here's a pic from our landing on Friday at 3am. It was kind of cool--a couple Generals and the band showed up to play some tunes.
