There are so many things in my life to be thankful for. In this past year I've seen some of the most beautiful places on the earth and learned how precious every breath can be. It's been humbling and I only hope that one day my experiences will permeate all of my actions. That is to say I pray for grace.
Most of all, there are the people in my life. My wife, my family, my friends. All blessings, completely undeserved, yet given in abundance. There are times when I feel the weight of it, and it brings tears to my eyes. My life is beautiful only because of you all.
To those who read this, thank you for being in my life, in one way or another. You are appreciated and loved.
This is the day for these things to be known.

Wish you could have heard the prays of thanksgiving said around our table. Between tears and smiles and lots of laughter (God loves little-boy giggles during prayers, ya know), we thanked God for all His good gifts. Your name was mentioned five times! We love you and your beautiful bride!!

Did you have turkey? I bet it wasn't as good as Matt's roast. Hope everything is going well!

I DID have a turkey... It was better than Matt's roast, but not better than his salmon. And DEFINTELY not better than my chocolate chip pancakes. :)
