I'm working on my class schedule for this Spring and this whole graduation thing is looking, well, realistic. Of course, I've used the word "realistic" before. A few times actually. I fear it might not carry the same weight it once did.

Here's what I mean:

"Yeah, so graduation is looking realistic."
-Me, to the parents, 2004

"Look guys, I'm gonna graduate. It's seriously getting realistic."
-Me, to friend, 2005

"Realistic, realistic, realistic. Mom and dad, that's the only word that describes me and graduation."
-Me, to the parents, 2006

Then I get a degree in Anthropology and Literature. Whatever that means. A fancy piece of paper with shiny designs, an overwhelming sense of is this it?
