I love it when my mom sends me these emails. It makes my job here a whole lot easier...
-A recent conversation between my mom and brother-
Austin: Mom, what's this?
Mom: Is a glass Jayhawk. It's Michael's.
Austin: What's a Jayhawk?
Mom: It's a mythical bird. It is the mascot for the Univ of Kansas where Michael went to college for a while.
Austin: I really like it. It's made of glass?
Mom: Yes. It's glass.
Austin: It's really cool.
Mom: Yeah, it is.
Austin: Why is it on the mantle?
Mom: We're just keeping it for Michael.
Austin: Well, I really like it.
Mom: Yeah, it's nice, huh?
Austin: Maybe when Michael grows up, he'll give it to me.

Maybe when Michael grows up he'll tell his children to never go to Blockbuster past nightfall when the harsh lighting is in full effect.
Miki,
Hopefully, by the time my children are grown up and in college, harsh (read: flourescent) lighting will have been banished in Western civilization. I mean really, we've put men on the moon but we can't get rid of lights that expose every single freakin' pore.
And late fees should be terminated, but I think they're already onto that.
What were we thinking...
Michael
HAHAHAAHAHAHAHA.
