I'm Wide Awake It's Morning

Once a month soldiers in Europe enjoy 'family day' which is a free day off from work. We seriously have holidays, like, all the time. Family day is close to my heart, right next to things like Dan's back-pack wave and Nikki's falsetto. In short, it's good news. Good news for all.

I slept in (for the first time in a month), listen to Bright Eyes, checked out a village with a church chiseled into the side of a cliff (pics later-uh-mazing), read some Hemmingway, let Becca teach me piano, and caught a matinee of Miami Vice. It was so good I was able to forgive Colin Farel for 'Alexander.' Almost.

Anyways, tomorrow's Friday. The weekend is a question mark. Is France calling us? Strassbourg is a big maybe.

Here are a few pics from Brussels (Rebecca dancing with a crazy college guy in front of the most beautiful architecture in the world) and two pics from Luxembourg. There are deep tunnels and caves beneath the city that run for miles.

Now it's time for Frosted Flakes and Chapelle Show. Goodnight.

What's going on with that college kid? Did he ask for money after the dance? By the way, I'm glad you thought that outtake the other day was funny, too. :) What month are y'all comin home?
