So I was talking to my brother John a few minutes ago. We sent the boys their birthday presents (8 on the 13th), which ended up being in two separate packages. John got really excited and said, "You guys are sooooooo generous."
I kind of laughed and said, "Yeah well you guys are really good brothers and..."
He interupted with a heavy sigh and said, "Michael, it's a figure of speech."
I don't know where they learn this stuff, but I'd go there if I could.

High temperature in Germany during the day: I don't know. We've been in France all day.
Low temperature in Germany during the night: 51 degrees.
It's early August and we're already into fall, headed for winter.

That's completely fine with me. There are certainly times when I wish I could live in San Marcos and just chill for a while. Soon, soon.
I've heard of Slacker and will check it out. I saw V for Vendetta and loved it. Great follow to the Matrix for the Wachowski brothers. Good call on their part to make that one next.
