The Special Post Promised Yesterday: The False Statement is Revealed

6
We put our hearts and bodies into building the tallest structure at the first CRU meeting last Fall. And all we got was.. a crummy bag of sweet tarts. (I remember yelling at Nikki, "More tape dammit, more TAAAPE!" -- an ominous precursor to the day it flooded during theatre class)

Nobody does a better blue steel look than Michael. But I'm duty bound to also state that nobody does a better blue steel look than Josh, except Michael.

And in response to the snoody comment about it being 'a slow news day' I'll have you know one thing: It's never a slow day for the Daily Rice. Sometimes it's just slow writing. Truth is I was just having some fun--we're all entitled to at least that.

Another truth is that yesterday wasn't slow at all. I was watching Bayern Munich celebrate their league victory for the second straight season. After scoring a single ticket ten rows off field level I saw the greatest sports event I've ever seen. The European soccer crowds are truly awesome. Fritz-Walter stadium, one of the stadiums redesigned for the World Cup, was rocking. I say this a lot, and it's possibly lost meaning, but it was one of the best events of my life.

Sorry, Josh's blue steel exceeds yours. And if 3 is true, than only 2 can be false (which is what I said orignianlly).

Daniel Son,
Part of maturity is admitting when you're wrong. Yes, Josh does do a better blue steel look.

However, I wasn't even doing blue steel. I moved beyond that years ago. There is a name for my look, but it cannot be pronounced by English speakers. Though you do speak some French, so there's hope.

More later,
Rice

That was such a sweet victory. The thing is, those weren't sweet tarts... they were jelly beans. Even WORSE. They could've at least splurged on some Dove chocolates. Seriously. None the less... that was a good night. Way to go team!

I remember that night. I saw the sad crumble of your tower. My condolances.

Yes Mar Bar, you might have seen it crumble, but only because we let it. You see, other teams were crying after being beaten so badly--we just didn't want to rub it in.

And yes, Dove Chocolates would've meant a lot more. And some ez cheese. Are you girls still eating that strange stuff??

EWW no.. absolutely not! I have moved on to cream cheese and crackers....mmm its making me hungry just thinking about it. And Jessica always gets ruffles with french onion dip. Megan eats wheat thins and chips ahoy I think. And I really don't know what Dawn's snack of choice is... although today I saw her eating chocolate that she bought at the outlet mall.

Ok I win dumbest comment of all time award. Sorry, I'm sleep deprived.

P.S. Your wife is currently about 4 feet away from me.
