What is Quality Time? Bill knows.

20
Text book definition of a winning smile

While the older brother lives in the world of surgery, the younger one sojourns.

Austin, the eldest of my triplet brothers, recently had his tonsils taken out a couple days ago. The poor kiddo, he’s fallen on hard time and is one sick puppy. Pray for him. Yes, right now.

Thanks.

One of the best things about being a triplet is you have two brothers who are always there for you, twenty fingers and twenty toes of safety net. These boys would fight for each other to the death, but they’d much rather help each other in life. Bill has taken it upon himself to see to his brothers healthy convalescence. My mom was telling me tonight that Bill refused a trip with my dad to stay home and watch over him, which makes me more proud than I can say.

Bill snuggled up with Austin on the couch as they started a discovery channel DVD, the two little angels wrapped tightly inside a blanket. My mom, walking into another room, heard Bill turn to Austin and say, “Now this is what I call some quality time.”

When did they become my heroes? Who could ask for better groomsmen?

Oh, and by the way, I think Austin is pretty much the most handsome kid I’ve ever seen. Rebecca and I should be so lucky to have a boy who looks that good. Almost too good.

Sean,
Yeah, it will be an interesting ride for all of them. I imagine great success in general. And for the record, no, no, no. No kids in the plan for now.

But tomorrow I'm blogging about future names for our kids.... So don't miss that :)

I've had to change the daily mantra from "Sweet as Tupelo honey" to "Sweeter than Tupelo honey." We are very blessed! And we miss you greatly.
