Such was life last night as the screaming fans cheered on their teams in the USA VS Poland World Cup exhibition. We scored early in the second half, the first and last goal of the evening.
With about 30 minutes left, a blizzard rolled into Kaiserslautern and the field turned to white out conditions. I've never seen anything like it--eventually they had to put a yellow ball out there because no one could even see the ball. The game got really sloppy, which coincidentally was about the same time I lost all feeling in all extremities. It was about 10 degrees.
Pretty much the best night of my life.
Before the game, some feeling still remaining in body...
