Just Think Of It As Personality Dialysis

m

The only thing worse than getting caught singing a sparkling rendition of “I Could’ve Dance All Night” in full volume, perhaps a pinch sharp, is…

Wait. There is nothing worse than that.

**

That’s what I, along with my understandably concerned sergeant painfully realized as he rounded the corner to encounter my ill-advised melodies. Talk about bad timing.

Why? Why! Why.

I blame many things. I blame Nathan Lane for being so damn talented. I blame Nikki for teaching me it’s ok to cry out, “Little ways to flirt and flounce!” I blame Megan for all her (perhaps mock) enthusiasm (like I care if it’s sincere! I’m after the rave reviews) for my crescendo, “I know, I knooow, I knooooowww!” when singing songs from the broad way tour de force, Wicked.

Mostly I blame myself.

Musicals. Like you don’t do it too, at least when you think you’re alone.

Nice flowers. They really bring out your tan.

By the way, I will be attending your ceremony. No need to fret. (Anna said you weren't sure if I was coming or not.) So, yes I'll be in town. June. oy vey, our little michael has grown up.

You act like this is a bad thing! I take pride in the fact that I taught you about flirting and flouncing and defying gravity. I KNOW! However, I will not take credit for that little wimpering puppy noise you make in attempt to hit the high notes.

I listened to Wicked for the first time in a really long time yesterday, and I totally thought of you during Popular. You should feel honored.

I have never sang a musical outloud...
but just about everything else is fair game.
I have a tendency to create songs about anything...
like
I put on my shoe, it's a good shoe

Stacey laughs at me a lot
):

Be glad he didn't hear you trying to sing some Bruce Springsteen. P:

Wow! Talk about three great comments from three of my favorite friends... Thanks Jessie, the flattery is taken to heart. And my Deathcab lyrics were wrong--I'm sorry. How about, "We spread out..." Nikki, singing your loudest is nothing to be ashamed of. Had I never heard Wicked, I'd be half the person I am today. Ursula taught me so much, and well, I thank YOU for that. Kitten, that's pretty much the best song ever. It's wonderful really. Tell Stacey I said hi, will ya?

Liebe,
michael

Ursula? WTF? I believe you mean Elphaba. Have I not taught you anything Michael??
