Times Like These, Emergence of JaG

DSCF0999

So at the request of Marisa the Kissa I'm posting the (belated) unofficial Rice family Christmas card. I wish I could take credit for the photos general awesomeness but the truth is that we had a great photographer...

It's funny how you remember the things you like/used to do when going home; there's nothing like having roughly 15 hours of discretionary time each day. As usual, I've made a list!

Top Five Things to Do When Home for Christmas Break (that you would not do ordinarily):

1) Draw pictures for JaG (see below)
2) Terrorize/hug and kiss little brothers
3) Eat inordinate amounts of hot fudge
4) Adopt bizzare sleeping/eating habits (i.e. 3pm breakfast)
5) Write love songs and read Irish poetry
5a) Write poetic Irish love songs

how I miss the dearie....I hope your christmas was grand and that you enjoyed time with the fam and friend/s. I have to say i'm glad you've been reading Irish poetry. I once found a book of Irish limericks at a half price books and hid it so no one could buy it and I read it every time I went. I made the fatal mistake of showing a friend the book AND it's hiding place and she bought it out from under me. Dirty rat. Any way, just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know that out of sight does not always equal out of mind but I must admit I won't really feel the "missing you emotion" until i see you again. I'm weird that way.
