So spake the angst-ridden Chad Michael Murray at the beginning of tonights One Tree Hill. Though it still feels like a Texas Summer, it's technically Fall, and live this season we are. Vicariously of course...
Megan and I settled in tonight for a late night showing of One Tree Hill. We breathed the frosty Bexar Hall air, drank Nikki's diet coke, tasted the wheat thins saturated with EZ-cheese, and resigned ourselves to a burping contest. That and screaming when we saw it might be LUCAS WHO TRIED TO KILL DAN! When I saw the face of Lucas, the flames glowing ember-red behind him, I felt more emotion than I have in over three weeks. Not knowing how to channel my surge of emotion, all I could manage to do was literally put Megan in a choke hold and scream out LUUUUUUUUCAAAAASSSSS!!!!
This show affects others too. After a week of silence my friend John wrote me:
I'm sorry for the outburst. I saw the premiere of One Tree Hill last week and have been unable to form coherent sentences until just now. Chad Michael Murry is as broody as ever.
We must hang out soon and wear hoodies and squint alot to show that we have feelings, just as CMM would
