Well the CRU crew (forgive me) has been trickling back into San Marcos which means a sharp increase in Blockbuster rental sales and HEB brownie purchases. This is good news for all. But in addition to the influx of movies and baked goods, hugs have been on high demand.
A hug, like handshakes, is often times a risky endeavor. They come in many shapes and sizes and to be honest, you never really know what you are going to get. A couple weeks ago Linzee707 (log: my best friend) and the Lunar Module suffered through an embrace that has gone down in the record books as perhaps the most awkward moment of their lives.
In the words of Linzee707 (brace yourself)....
Okay, so I'm just going to start out by saying that this morning at church I had one of the most awkward/horrific encounters of MY LIFE.
It had been a few days since I'd seen Matt Luna, so naturally I was excited and giddy to see him. He must have sensed by happiness because he goes, "HEY! (in classic Matt Luna voice), come here, give me a hug or something!" And he reaches to give me a hug, literally reaching because I was wearing heels. And I FROZE.
I absolutely froze and was stiff as he was giving me a hug. I mean I didn't even move my hands they were stuck at my sides while he was squeezing, like how you act when you're mad at someone when they try and give you a hug. He let go finally and walked into Sunday school and I was paralyzed.
