Today's Heat Index: One. Hundred. Twelve. Degrees. Farenheit.
You know what I do when I'm vaccuming a car? I pray for the person! At first I thought it might be some sort of commendable spiritual conviction, but now I am seriously entertaining the possibility that the prayers are mere symptoms of heat exhaustion.
At first my prayers were rather kind and generic... You know, bless this person and if there was a car seat then keep the kiddo safe. Nice stuff. But after about three hours, a hundred cars, and in the midst of vaccuming a supersized serving of fries from the floorboard, my prayers become more along the lines of "Dear God, please help this person to get it together and stop being such a total slob."

Michael Rice, Temperature currently here in Newport Beach Calidornia 63 degrees, todays high was 74 degress with a low tonight of 61 degrees....Needless to say I am sure not missing that 112 degree heat index! Hope all is well, keep up the san marcos people pictures they make me so happy!* A
Amanda - that is totally not fair. Send some coolness down our way.
Michael. Oh. my. gosh. How does your hair work in such heat? Do you still splash water on it like you do in Judo class?
A, What in the world?? That is sooooo cool!! I, along with Nikki, am totally jealous. Ah well--sweating is good for you they say (I firmly believe that "they" have never worked in 112 heat index vacumming cars). Well, keep up the great work out there :)
And Nikki. Oh. My. Gosh. I. Know. My hair defies the immutable laws of physics. Just kidding--it gets "generally fluffy" if I don't constantly soak it down. We just got back from a midnight hike--gotta go pass out now but pics tomorrow!

i agree, with the whole working out doors thing, it is not all that it is cracked up to be, but someone has gotta do it, and sweating too much like me could be bad I think. But anyway, dude the midnight hike was totally awesome, we gotta do many more adventures that include sweating, and hiking. It was amazing, and thats all I gotta say about that. -Austin
Praying for the people who own the car - what a cool thing!
Austin,
Yeah man, last night was sweet. I called you earlier--we're about to go out to the cliffs in Austin--- Sorry we missed ya. But we'll do plenty more adventures this summer :)

Wow, I don't know how you wash cars in this weather-but I commend you. And a prayer is a prayer so keep it up! Hey guess what? I got a new bike! It's hot pink with some subtle glitter, a total eye catcher. BUt I got to ride it the other night and it was rough at first..there were some gear issues and a little screaming on my behalf- but now i'm pretty much a pro. Just ask sandy.
Lind-z,
That's awesome about the bike! Sandy and I just got done cooking dinner (she ruined the muffins!) and she says she is your surrogate boyfriend. We miss you!!

Were you cleaning YOUR Jeep, Michael?
Hey Michael!!! I miss you and San Marcos... when would be a good time for me and matt to come visit?
Mo-riah,
You and Matt should come and visit anytime after friday--that's when summer school is out for me. It would be sweet action to see you two! You guys, after all, are my favorite(s)! Send me an email later this week and we'll make plans :)
SWEET ACTION ;)
As you take the car from the person to start your work, maybe you should ask them to pray for you!
