This peninsula forms the most eastern most part of Africa, and is referred to as the Horn of Africa. Many paleo-anthropological finds have been found in Eastern Africa. In fact, the fossil record in Africa is rife with hominid (this is what we are) finds dating all the way back to 7 million years. Such hominids are not found anywhere outside of Africa until 1.8 million years ago. In short, there have been a large number of hominid fossils found in Africa between 7 and 1.8 million years ago. After 1.8 there is a dispersal into other territories such as Asia and Europe. What does this mean? Deep breath... It means, unequivocally, that we are all African Americans.
*unless you completely deny science and paleo-anthropology, which, understandably, some people do

thanks for nothing!
Apes of Africa are we.
I took Glassman for this class when he was still here, and there were people who would get SOOO upset that someone actually disproved their precious ubercreationism theory. I hope your class took it better.
I believe that wedding video proved that a long time ago. But i'm glad you have rediscovered your roots!!!**Sarah**
